Attackers Exploit SharePoint Authentication Bypass After Public PoC Release

Microsoft’s SharePoint platform is facing active exploitation following the public release of a proof-of-concept (PoC) for a critical authentication bypass vulnerability tracked as CVE-2026-55040.
